WHAT ABOUT VOTING BOTH BY ABSENTEE BALLOT AND IN PERSON?

If you request an absentee ballot, and don't submit it, and choose to vote in person, that's okay!  BUT, you cannot vote BOTH in-person and via absentee.

--If your absentee vote has been received and processed, you will not be able to vote in person on election day.

--If you vote on election day before your absentee ballot is received and processed, your absentee vote will not be counted.

Step 3.  Complete and submit the absentee ballot.

Once you have received your ballot, follow the instructions on how to mark your choices and properly secure your ballot for submitting it.

Either:

a) place the ballot in the Ballot Drop Box outside the lower level entry of the Town Hall before 8:00 pm on November 8, 2022.

OR

b) take your ballot in person to the Office of the Town Clerk in the Ridgefield Town Hall, by the end of business (4:30 p.m.) on Nov. 7, 2022,

OR

c) mail your completed ballot to:

     Office of the Town Clerk

     400 Main St.

     Ridgefield CT 06877

In any case, the absentee ballot must be received by the Town Clerk by noon on Nov. 7, 2022.

VOTING *BOTH* BY MAIL-IN and IN-PERSON VOTING ?!!

If you vote by mail, and your vote has NOT been processed before election day, then you may also vote on election day; your mail-in vote will be ignored.
