The Ridgefield Republican Town Committee is proud to support up and down the ballot. We'll add more here as candidates file and as we approach November 3rd, 2026.
Ryan is a friend of the Ridgefield RTC and the endorsed Republican candidate for Connecticut Governor. He won the GOP nomination at the Connecticut Republican State Convention with roughly 92% of the delegate vote on the first ballot.
A state senator representing Greenwich and parts of Stamford and New Canaan since 2021, Ryan is best known for co-authoring the law requiring utilities to itemize “public benefits” charges on electric bills — bringing transparency to one of the biggest drivers of Connecticut’s electric rates.
Faces incumbent Democrat Ned Lamont in the November 3, 2026 general election.
Blake is a proud third-generation Ridgefielder, raised on West Mountain Road in the same home where his grandmother raised his mother more than fifty years ago — the same home where he hopes to one day raise his own children. He is running for State Representative because he believes Ridgefield deserves leadership that will fight to preserve what makes this town special: local control, natural beauty, and a sense of community that generations of residents have worked to protect.
Public service runs deep in his family. His grandfather, Joseph Consentino, was known for his contributions to local baseball and the Ridgefield Playhouse. His mother, Susan Consentino, served on Ridgefield's Planning & Zoning Commission — and after an eight-month battle with stage 4 cancer, Blake lost her two years ago. Her commitment to Ridgefield shaped his belief that the people who live here should have the strongest voice in deciding their town's future.
We've rebuilt RidgefieldRTC.org from the ground up to make it a real community resource — easier to find your polling place, track what's happening at Town Hall, and connect with us.
This site is a work in progress. Over the coming weeks we'll be adding deeper bios for our Republican officials and full details on the candidates running in November.
